Operation Smile Fund Raiser Extended…

Through December 10th, portions of session fees from portraits taken at Images By “Missy” will be donated to Operation Smile. PPA Charities has set a goal to raise enough monies to pay for 500 surgeries for babies and children born with cleft pallets, cleft lips and facial deformities in partnering countries.

Did you know that in many of these countries, if the child survives, their parents do not even take them out in public? Many are brought to the clinics wearing bags over their heads. It broke my heart to learn of this. Nothing else wrong with the child except the facial deformity.

Operation Smile takes volunteer medical teams to these partnering countries on missions to repair as many children as are brought to them. The cost is only $240 per operation. PPA Charities teams up with Operation Smile every year to raise funds and provide a photographer(s) for missions. Our goal is to provide 500 operations for 500 precious babies and children who would otherwise not be able to leave their homes without their faces covered, a bag over their heads, living in embarrassment and shame that is no fought of their own.

Choosing an Operation Smile Studio will ensure one more child gets the assistance that they need. PPA Charity Studios all over the world are donating portions of session fees and sales to Operation Smile.
