Family Portrait Month Continues! Our colors are just now changing. And what a beautiful time for outdoor family portraits! And we want to do all we can to help meet our national goal of $120,000.00 for Operation Smile! 1/2 (one half) of all session fees will be donated to Operation Smile through PPA (Professional Photographers of America) Charities. It only costs $240 per operation to change the life of one of these children. To change their smile.

Custom sessions on location, your home, in studio or at Aldridge Gardens.

It has been a busy week. Closing out pending orders, trying to update websites and photos, editing photos from sessions, meeting with landscape designer, Operation Smile, listing something for free on craigslist (do you have any idea how many emails you get from that!).

Yesterday I did not get my time w/God. I am running late for my consult…. A wonderful man came to get DD’s swing set. He is very sweet and has a wonderful testimony for the Lord. His children will get many years out of that set. And our neighbors are giving him a nearly mint trampoline for his children. He has been unemployed for 15 months and just relying on God for everything.

I get to my consult~~Late. Wonderful lady. From St. Tammany Parrish. Her family lost everything in Katrina and started everything anew here in Hoover. “We had to totally rely on God. He took care of us every step of the way…” And these are words she said that I will never forget. I will write them down in a journal w/her name. “It was like having to walk across ice, but God never allowed the ice to break under our feet.”

What a blessing for me to have met these two people yesterday. Thank you Lord!

Our fund raiser for Operation Smile will be starting next week!  Sessions are filling up fast.  We will be offering Mini~Sessions on Saturday October 16th and Saturday October 30th.  These will be 30 minute, discounted sessions set aside for you/your family.  This is a great opportunity for smaller families or couple who want one scene or something fresh, but not a full custom session.  Packages also available!  And  FREE CHRISTMAS CARDS with your package order!
